A set of papers from CAGI, including our winning algorithm, is published in Human Mutation! Our paper introduces SURF, a probabilistic model that combines RegulomeDB annotations to predict which variants in enhancers and promoters are most likely to be functional. The approach improves prioritization of regulatory variants by integrating multiple lines of functional genomic evidence into a single score. Congratulations to Shengcheng on leading this work!
