Our SEMplMe paper is published in BMC Bioinformatics! SEMplMe integrates ChIP-seq and whole-genome bisulfite sequencing to predict how DNA methylation changes transcription factor binding at each position in a binding motif. The method recapitulates known methylation-sensitive sites, detects cell-type-specific effects, and improves prediction for CTCF relative to an in vitro approach. Congratulations to Sierra on leading this work!
