Our method HaplotagLR is published in PLOS ONE! HaplotagLR assigns long sequencing reads to parental haplotypes using phased variants and a configurable statistical error model. It outperformed the leading method in simulations and recovered more haplotagged reads from real nanopore data while giving users direct control over the sensitivity–specificity tradeoff.
