Our paper on tissue-informed trans-ancestral polygenic risk scores is published in PLOS Genetics! This study introduces TITR, a framework that integrates tissue-specific functional genomic annotations into trans-ancestral polygenic risk scores. Prioritizing regulatory variants in relevant tissues improved the portability of scores from European-ancestry training data to African-ancestry cohorts across six traits.
